No Reason

You are a member of the audience standing in the desert, watching a tire through binoculars. The only thing you are ever asked is what you want to happen next. You are a hundred yards away and unable to affect the story in any way except by wishing, so there is no guarantee the tire will do what you ask.

What interested me most about Rubber was that Dupieux puts an audience inside the film itself. I wanted the game to be told from inside that crowd rather than from the tire, so the player isn't the protagonist. The audience around you talks and complains like the one in the movie, and one of them leaves before the end. You stay, wanting to finish the film. Every image is a still taken from the film and passed through a filter in-engine.
